. While walking dogs, I noticed several persons of a questionable nature cutting through the park and over or under the bridge. By the time traffic seemed to die down, the logging trucks began to roll out for the morning. When a big rig goes over the bridge, the bridge shakes, the ground shakes and our RV shook. I could swear I heard someone trying to open a basement door of our RV at about 3am. As a result of all that, I got about two hours of restless sleep and so did my wife so not too happy! For the price, I would have gotten better sleep for free in a Walmart parking lot, questionable nature people and all.
Love this place
I have caught salmon and steelhead off the back bumper of my 5th wheel and my job is 2miles away.
We have lived here monthly for a few years now and we love it here. Our park managers and neighbors are amazing and we have a million dollar view of the river.
The people that I call neighbors are very good people, the facilities are clean and comfortable, the costs are inexpensive and location is convenient.
Management runs a tight ship, which makes this park one of the nicest parks on the west coast. Dog friendly with open field and riverfront walking room 100ft from park.
Been in this park, 10yrs.
This has to be the worst park we ever went to! The only thing I can say good about is the place was immaculate probably because the two page set of rules virtually doesn't let you step out of your rv! This place has the tiniest concrete pads I've ever seen. You can't put out an awning, work on your utilitity set up without encroaching on the rv next to you. It sits on an off ramp so it's constant traffic when you are asleep, but is almost negated by the TRAIN going and coming all night blowing its whistle. And then there was the dog park. Duh, a 4x8 strip of grass that's inundated by don't do this or that signs. You could take your pets down a hill into the weeds where you don't know what you'll find! All in all, I don't believe they have the current rating they do. They must be brain dead! You get all this folks for just $45 a nite!!!!! And one more thing. There are hookups for tv to the RVs but the owners or workers in the office don't want to pay for it even though they have it in theirs! I guess 45 dollars a nite won't pay for that!
Esther and Tom are crazy, BEWARE!!! This is a retirement park. If you want to have any fun DO NOT come here. She yells and belittles you. She treats people terrible. She nitpicks about everything. Only good if you never step foot outside your trailer. I swear she is bipolar. She is a mean lady.
With a backyard like this, why would you want to move....
We were able to obtain a site at the last minute and we were very grateful, until about 10pm at night. We expected the traffic noise to die down and it never seemed to. Also, very restrictive on where your dogs can "go". Just one chosen vacant RV lot #37 for EVERYONE to take their dogs.if walking outside the park, mainly sidewalks and business parking lots. Our site was one site and a narrow road in the park next to the CC St. Bridge. Now I know why these sites are available
Unless I find a cabin in the woods, I will be here another 10yrs
